Description

Here's a model sheet for Fox McCloud, the main character of Star Fox. I thought I'd draw him making a bunch of faces.

As for the "meh" expression (middle right), my friend ZMG suggested that I add it.

Update on September 1, 2011: Okay, well I made an attempt to give him a neck after a deviant caught something, and I realized that, yes TMystery, Brawl/Command Fox DOES have a neck!!

Fox looks different in every game he is included. Why can't the game designers keep him looking the same for each title he stars in? For instance, compare the Fox in SSB Melee with the Fox in Starfox Assault - they do not even look like they could be the same person/humanoid. I know Fox is older in Assault, but it doesn't explain the complete difference in facial complexion, body proportion, demeanor, etc. Both iterations of Fox in those two games are intended to be the same character obviously, however they are nothing a like or at least physically and in appearance.

Personally, I think Fox looks the best in SSB Melee. Even though his head is a bit too large in this game title, his physique is pretty much spot on for a lean, well-chiseled male character. The game developers should have used the Melee Fox for every Starfox title from then on out after SSB Melee was released way, way back in 2001 instead of changing him into so many different iterations. Look at other video game characters from Nintendo, and they're appearance is consistent for every title (e.g., Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser, and so on...).
